Lighthouse Tea Dance

Wow! What an incredible afternoon we had at the Lighthouse Tea Dance! Your presence and generosity filled Foundation House with joy, laughter, and a powerful sense of community. Because of you, we raised over $50,000 to support and expand our Lighthouse program – that’s countless lives you’re touching!

Your gift is already making waves. Right now, a teen is walking into a Lighthouse meeting, feeling accepted and empowered to be their true self. A parent like Vicki is breathing easier knowing their child has found a safe place. You’ve helped create these moments; we can’t thank you enough.

We’re thrilled to share that we’re expanding! The Lighthouse program is growing into Bridgeport at the Pride Center, reaching even more LGBTQ+ youth who need us. Your generosity is literally helping us light the way for young lives across Fairfield County.

The Lighthouse Tea Dance was a whirlwind of excitement, from the Norwalk Conservatory of the Arts’ flash mob to DJ Hausboi’s cool beats and Dan Guller, our emcee extraordinaire! Hearing Vicki’s heartfelt story reminded us all why we’re here – to ensure every LGBTQ+ youth feels supported, connected, and celebrated.

We couldn’t have done this without our amazing sponsors: Circle Care Center, DiMare Pastry Shop, Foundation House, The Leonard Litz LGBTQ+ Foundation, Alon Marom and Anthony Palazzo, Andrew Mitchell-Namdar and Isaac Namdar, The Norwalk Conservatory of the Arts, Bill Pierz, Marilyn Roos Photography, and Chris Spiegelman. Your support fuels our mission! You can hear from Bill and Alon on News12: https://connecticut.news12.com/tea-dance-event-supports-lgbtq-youth-in-fairfield-county

To our dedicated Tea Dance Committee and volunteers – your energy and passion brought this event to life. We’re already looking forward to next year’s Tea Dance, so keep an eye out for future invitations!

Also, remember that your impact doesn’t stop here. If you’re interested in volunteering or learning more about Lighthouse, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re creating a brighter, more inclusive future for LGBTQ+ youth.
