Kids In Crisis would like to extend a heart-felt thank you to the 150 passengers and committee members, who gathered at the Westconn Aviation Hangar at Danbury Airport on Friday, June 1, 2018 for a very special ‘Have a Heart’ celebration. This first-class runway reception was emceed by special guest, stand-up comedian Christine O’Leary whose fun-loving, quick witted auctioneering helped raise funds for the Kids In Crisis programming in Ridgefield.
Money raised will help support the vital 24-hour emergency services, and TeenTalk programs at East Ridge Middle School and Ridgefield High School. TeenTalk is a Kids In Crisis exclusively designed program, that places specially-trained masters level mental health counselors in middle and high schools to identify and help students navigate difficult personal, family and school-related issues.
